Es una mujer inmigrante y aunque ha cruzado   fronteras  físicas, son las fronteras  mentales, las que desde los 5 años de edad  le han enseñado a enfrentar desafíos, que con el tiempo  le han convertido  en  una mujer fuerte,  resiliente y con un carácter definido, entendiendo que decir  NO  es válido en especial cuando dices No,  a personas, lugares, cosas o situación que te hacen daño o te   alejan del objetivo.

Desde la primaria fue un personaje polémico, le expulsaron a los 10 años de la escuela católica a la que pertenecía, siempre estuvo en el grupo de los de “atrás”,  teniendo un dedo inquisidor que le señalaba como  irreverente, misma  senalacion  que le enseno  la importancia de defender sus  ideales.

Creyente firmemente en el poder que tiene la mujer como pilar fundamental en la sociedad,  lidera procesos sociales y culturales en su país de origen Colombia y ahora en USA ,  su  creatividad le ayuda a  dar soluciones  a problemas que suelen presentarse en el diario vivir, con una  actitud positiva que fusiona con la racionalidad de tener los pies en la tierra, desde hace un tiempo comprendió que su Misión  es servir  a otras mujeres que como ella son  madres, emprendedoras, hijas, hermanas, esposas, etc.

impulsando sueños, con una particular generosidad que le acompaña  en la poca  sutilidad sarcástica que usa al hablar, invitando a confrontarnos con nostras mismas y enfrentar los miedos impuestos por los patrones que nos antecede como mujeres, hija de una madre soltera, la menor de 5 hermanas y madre de 2 hermosas niñas, a enfrentado la vida con el desafío de ir en contra de todo lo que le dijeron que sería, hoy su forma  extrovertida y perseverancia la ha llevado a desempeñarse laboralmente como especialista en el departamento de fuerza laboral en una reconocida ONG en estados unidos, estando en diarios como el Washington post donde destacan su labor con familias hispanas, además lidera el movimiento, MUJERES DE LA FRONTERA en el cual a través de sus plataformas digitales, llega con mensajes motivacionales a mujeres que están pasando  por la depresión post migratoria física y mental, con su estrategia S.E.R (Sanar, Explorar y Reconocer) invita a lograr las metas y sueños, sanando la niña que llevamos dentro y reconociendo que podemos ser las autoras de nuestras propias historias.

Creo firmemente que la educación es el pilar de la sociedad y que la educación con propósito es la base de una comunidad con sana convivencia,  soy profesora hace 20 anos y aun que mi  titulo inicial es auxiliar de enfermería y luego continúe mis estudios en Psicología, la pasión por el teatro y la danza es lo que me llevo a encontrar mi propósito de vida donde uso el arte con link para unir la salud mental y física.
